Soul Harmonics
‘The people behind the massive selling “Flow Dynamics” Freestyle album return with a stunning foray into soulful, funky house sounds. This is The Soul Harmonics
All the way from Australia comes uber producer Flow Dynamics (Dave McKinney) with a new soulful house project Soul Harmonics. Flow Dynamics wreaked havoc on dance floors across the globe in 2008 with a record full of hard hitting funk and beats, getting heavy play from everyone from Kenny Dope to Askillz. Now Flow Dynamics is back with a brand new record that continues on from where the last record left off: These Times by The Soul Harmonics
This time however the tunes head straight into soul filled club territory, with a pile of soulful house and nu jazz songs featuring singers and musicians from across the globe.
From the opener “Miscommunicate” featuring Rachel Claudio on vocal duties, it’s clear that the Soul Harmonics have achieved the perfect blend of genuine, acoustic soul and cutting edge 21st century production techniques making for an unbeatable, all encompassing sound that brings together the best of both worlds.
Highlights are many but include the Soul Harmonics remix of the Random Heroes “C’Mon & Get It” a digital jazz dance future classic, and the funkyhouse excursion that is the remix of the Myriad original featuring the sweet voice of Jade Crompton and Riyannah Harmon.
These Times by The Soul Harmonics is an ultra funky, jazz fuelled exploration into soulful house grooves that has already set dance-floors on fire around the world. With warm keyboards, straight -up funky bass lines, hot female vocals, live horns, and percussive funk driven house grooves, this will be bumping everywhere from the clubs of Paris to the underground joints in NYC, and the beaches of Australia.
